FTP Server

FTP is one of the most popular protocols for transferring files to/from a server. Many large companies such as Apple used anonymous FTP servers to distribute software and updates to users. While the number of anonymous FTP servers may be on the decline, we've got ours running with a small collection of files available for download.

How do I get started?
Since FTP is still widely used, generally any web browser supported today will allow you to connect. Alternatively you can also visit our downloads page to find a standalone FTP client. Our anonymous FTP server can be reached via ftp://ftp.altexxanet.org using login "anonymous" if prompted.
