Gopher Server

The Gopher protocol is similar to HTTP though is no longer frequently used. Early WWW browsers generally had the ability to use Gopher built-in. Alternatively you could use a standalone Gopher client to access Gopher servers.

How do I get started?
You should be able to access the ALTEXXANET Gopher server in one of two ways. For early browsers with built-in Gopher support (or any other Gopher client), navigate to gopher://gopher.altexxanet.org.
